This tea comes from the Phoenix Mountains, where Dancong Oolong are harvested and made. The rocky terroir is what gives their distinctive complex flavours.

The story goes that tea farmers were incredibly protective when they discovered this tea cultivar because of its heady floral perfume and nectar-like sweetness that he decided to call it the most unappetising name ever - Ya Shi Xiang (translates to fragrance of Duck Shit).

The Winter harvest of Dancong Oolong Duck Shit aroma is more delicate and floral than the regular Spring-time harvest. Lightly roasted, when brewed, you’ll enjoy a slight astringency and intense floral aroma which then dissipates into a lasting sweetness on the palate. Creamy mouthfeel with musky notes!
