Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes ; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of the drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. —Jeremiah 17:7-8
As the year reaches its end, it's the time to pause and give thanks for the blessings in 2015.
Celebrating the little wins, no matter how insignificant it may seem... that's us getting a small mention in the December issue of Singapore Tatler (Thank you Amelia!). Like when our customers tell us how much they love what we do. Jeremy, our customer, calling our Blueberry Earl Grey Tea cake "...amazing. It's like a party in my mouth". Or us making new friends and partners through Teaspoon—that to me is one of the little joys of this passion project.
It was such a serendipitous memory to be a part of Market of Experiences earlier in November. It's beautiful when people come together in a shared space, brought together by passion and exchange stories with an open mind and heart. I am ever so thankful for having crossed paths with the ladies of With Every (Natalie and Kristle) and getting to know Norman, the brains behind this event. We've since collaborated to launch a cake & blooms package and a curated gift box. On other great partnerships this year, we had whole cakes stocked on weekends at Shop Wonderland's quaint cafe-boutique at Haji Lane.
We look forward to spreading more love around one baked good at a time. Happy New Year xx
